Brain Chocolate: Vital Solutions aims to expand minds with cognition chocolate

Vital Solutions has developed a concept chocolate bar that it claims can improve cognitive function.

In this video from Vitafoods Europe 2014, Dr Sybille Buchwald-Werner, managing director for Vital Solutions, discusses the firm’s functional ingredient Bluenesse, which is derived from a lemon balm extract.

She says that 300 mg of the active ingredient in a 30 g dark chocolate bar would make a consumer calmer and give them a higher level of concentration after one hour.
