Mondelez recalls Green & Blacks chocolate amid salmonella risk
Green & Black’s Organic Peanut and Sea Salt Milk Chocolate contains peanuts supplied by Sunland, Inc., which expanded its nationwide recall on October 12, 2012.
The peanuts could be contaminated with Salmonella, which poses a serious and sometimes fatal health risk to young children and the elderly.
The recall is limited to Green & Black’s Organic Peanut and Sea Salt Milk Chocolate Bar 3.5 oz. bars, and includes all “best by” dates.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
