Ex United Biscuits boss to bring ‘creative flair’ to confectionery firm

Testard will bring a 'creative flair' to Tangerine Confectionery

Tangerine Confectionery has appointed Benoit Testard as a non-executive director.

Testard has over 30 years’ experience in the food and drink industry, most recently as ceo of United Biscuits.

He was replaced by Martin Glenn in April, after 14 years with the firm.

Before taking on the role of md for United Biscuits, Testard worked within marketing, sales and general management in companies such as Reckitt and Colman and Fromageries Bel Group. He first joined United Biscuits as md for France in 1999, before taking responsibility for northern Europe. 

‘Creative flair’

Steven Joseph, chairman of Tangerine Confectionery, said: “The confectionery business requires people with creative flair and Benoit’s experience will further strengthen the board and help Tangerine continue with the successful development of our brands.”
